Token Guidelines

Overview

These guidelines outline the usage of Access Tokens and User Tokens in the Leryon API. It is crucial to adhere to these guidelines to ensure the security and proper functioning of the API.

Access Tokens (OAuth2)

Access Tokens are required for authenticating and authorizing API requests. Developers must obtain and use Access Tokens for all interactions with the API.

User Tokens (Official Leryon Apps Only)

User Tokens are exclusive to official Leryon apps and must not be shared publicly. It is strictly prohibited to steal or misuse User Tokens. Only authenticated official Leryon apps are allowed to use User Tokens.

Security Measures

  1. Token Protection: Developers must implement robust security measures to protect tokens from theft or unauthorized access.

  2. Logging: All API traffic, including token usage, will be logged. Any suspicious activity will be thoroughly investigated.

  3. Consequences of Misuse: Unauthorized access, token theft, or misuse will lead to severe consequences, including but not limited to account suspension or legal action.

API Usage Guidelines

  1. API Limits: Developers must adhere to API rate limits and should not attempt to circumvent these limits.

  2. Multiple Clients: An app may have multiple clients, but each client must operate within the defined usage guidelines.

Reporting Issues

If you encounter any issues or have concerns about token usage, please report them promptly to the Leryon support team.

Conclusion

Adhering to these token guidelines is essential for maintaining the integrity and security of the Leryon API. Failure to comply may result in the termination of API access and other consequences.
